Our journey began in 1924 when our great grandfather decided to bring his passion for fashion and fabrics to life. He founded Portia with a vision to create extraordinary products for men.

It didn't take long until Portia gained recognition for its ties, belts and suspenders. The products were produced locally by artisans in the factory in Malmö.

With his unique sense for craftsmanship, style and knowledge in fabrics our grandfather created the building blocks of Portia and what we still represent today.

This year we celebrate 100 years of craftsmanship and passion for great details.

100 years have passed and generations of the family has contributed to what Portia is today. We take great pride in keeping our heritage and our grandfather's legacy alive.

Portia's products are made by some of the most talented artisans in the world. The materials are carefully selected to secure the high quality we always aim to deliver. We use natural fabrics such as silk, cotton, wool, and linen, but also newer options such as modal.

We source high-quality Italian silk from the same producers that work with other notable international fashion houses and all the leather products are made from genuine or full grain leather from Italy and Portugal.
